WE EXIST TO MAKE BOLD IDEAS POSSIBLE

Innovation moves faster with the right partner

Tempest Industries is a manufacturing partner for engineering teams working on early-stage hardware.

We help turn ambitious ideas into real, working systems—when designs are still evolving and the path forward isn’t fully defined.

At Tempest Industries we work alongside your team to validate designs and manufacture early hardware for projects that matter.

Our focus is on early-stage systems and prototypes where iteration, testing, and practical feedback make the difference between an idea staying on paper or becoming real.

Engineering drawings, pencils, a ruler, and a silver laptop are arranged on a wooden desk with rolled-up blueprints nearby.

We help engineering teams validate designs through real, physical parts, catching issues early before they become expensive or limiting.

Design Validation

We build prototypes and iterate quickly, giving teams tangible feedback so ideas can move forward with confidence.

How we work

  • We work directly with engineers and technical founders, maintaining clear communication and hands-on support throughout the build process.

  • We help teams make informed decisions early—when changes are still fast, affordable, and impactful.

  • We’re effective when requirements aren’t fully defined and designs are still taking shape. Early-stage systems and prototypes are where we add the most value.

We partner with teams tackling ambitious projects where practical, hands-on problem solving is essential. Whether you’re building prototypes, proof-of-concepts, or early-stage hardware, we provide a collaborative manufacturing partnership that brings your ideas to life.

Tempest works best with teams who value iteration, rapid learning, and tangible results. We help engineers and founders translate concepts into physical systems, providing guidance on manufacturability, design validation, and early-stage production. Our focus is on enabling ideas to evolve, improving them through collaboration, and supporting projects when requirements are still taking shape.

If your work is pushing boundaries and requires a partner who can think alongside you, Tempest can help turn your ideas into reality, carefully, competently, and with intent.

Who we work with

What we build

We manufacture early-stage hardware that helps engineering teams validate ideas and move forward with confidence.

  • Early-stage prototypes and validation parts

  • Functional assemblies for testing and fit

  • Custom CNC-machined components for proof-of-concept and iteration

All manufacturing is performed locally in Ontario, Canada, enabling close collaboration and fast feedback throughout the build process.

Our work has supported aerospace-adjacent training systems and early-stage EV battery research, projects where practical iteration and careful execution were essential.

We measure success by whether our work helps teams validate their designs, reduce uncertainty, and move bold ideas forward with clarity and confidence.

  • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

    1. What services does Tempest Industries provide?

Tempest Industries offers CNC manufacturing solutions across multiple industries. Our services range from parts manufacturing to full product production, and every step in between. We also offer Tempest Rapid+, a low-volume, fast-turnaround program for projects on tight deadlines.

    2. What is CNC manufacturing?

CNC (Computer Numerical Control) manufacturing uses advanced computer-guided machines to produce highly accurate and repeatable parts. This process reduces waste, increases efficiency, and allows us to manufacture complex designs with precision.

    3. What industries do you work with?

We serve a wide range of industries, including aerospace, cabinetry, consumer products, and more. Whether you need precision parts, cabinetry boxes, or custom jigs, Tempest Industries can adapt to your specific requirements.

    4. Do you take on low-volume or prototype projects?

Yes. Our Tempest Rapid+ program is designed specifically for low-volume and prototype manufacturing. It helps clients bring products to market faster by offering quick turnaround times without sacrificing quality.

    5. Can you handle large production runs?

Absolutely. We scale from single prototypes to full production runs. Our CNC capabilities and manufacturing systems allow us to produce consistent, high-quality results at any volume.

    6. How does partnering with Tempest Industries help manufacturers?

We act as an extension of your team. By outsourcing to Tempest, you reduce overhead, manage labour shortages, and handle seasonal production spikes without needing to hire or lay off employees.

    8. Are your products made in Canada?

Yes. All of our manufacturing is done in Ontario, Canada. This provides shorter lead times, lower shipping costs, and excellent local support—giving you the Ontario Made Advantage.

    9. How do I request a quote?

You can request a quote directly through our website at www.tempestindustries.ca. Provide your project details, and our team will respond quickly with pricing and timelines tailored to your needs.

    10. Can you help with product development and design?

No. At this time we don’t offer design services. We will make recommendations on the parts you wish to run to better optimize performance and manufacturing, however, we are not designers. However, we are actively working on securing a partnership with an engineering firm to handle any design needs, which we will be looking at launching in the near future.
